Your tour will start at the agreed pick-up location. After a short drive through Oneroa village, we leave the main road and take a scenic route with wonderful views across the Hauraki Gulf and Palm Beach.
No visit to Waiheke would be complete without witnessing one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. With views of Great Barrier and Little Barrier Island in the distance, Onetangi Bay has over 1.5 km of beautiful golden sand. Should you wish, you can be dropped at the far end to stroll the beach and meet your guide at the other end.
We continue the tour towards the eastern side of the island. The drive showcases spectacular views where you will have ample time to stop and admire the Gulf Islands and beyond to the Coromandel Peninsula.
The Man O’ War winery tasting room is set back from the beach in shaded surroundings and offers a range of food and wine tasting experiences. Established in 1993, Man O’ War consists of 150 acres of vines planted in 76 individual hillside blocks. Man O’War’s superb wines include Syrah, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay.
This is a great place for lunch and the menu includes delicious sharing platters and pizzas that can be enjoyed on the lawn area whilst soaking up the views over the bay to the Coromandel coastline surrounded by Pohutakawa trees.
With the
